beadlocked.
These rims started life as white modular steel 15x12x5.5 wheels made by Weld
Wheels which came on my jeep when I first purchased her back in 1996. I had Bush
Hog Racing, a local race shop install the beadlocks, then had the rims powder
coated. Don't get me wrong, I like the way the rims turned out but if I had a
chance to do Them over again I would. The first thing I would change is the
beadlocks them selves. I would go with a 32 bolt design to cut back on the
leaking and improve on strength. At the time I purchased these beadlocks, 32
bolt designs weren't around. The second thing I would do different is I would do
the installation work myself, but I didn't know jack about welding or really any
kind of fabricating back then either. The third and last thing I would do
different is move the location of the valve stem from the outer edge to the
center of the rim. This would make for easier access to the valve stem. Once I
get this rig going I'll modify these rims to my liking, or I may just ditch
these and buy some already built. If I only knew then what I know now...
